Niall Horan, Cara Delevingne, Zoella & more team together for charity Dream Jar project
In a more unexpected bit of a news… a whole load of wonderful famous faces have pitched in for a really great cause and it’s all centred around ‘The BFG’. The film, which is due to be released in the UK next week, is all about capturing dreams and both Save The Children and The Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity are gathering the troops for the best cause possible.
The whole idea is ‘The BFG Dream Jar Trail’ which consists of dreams from a whole host of celebrities transformed into sculptures from incredibly talented artists.
Just some of the famous people on board include Steven Spielberg, Mark Rylance, Professor Stephen Hawking, Simon Cowell, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Niall Horan, Maisie Williams, Sir Richard Branson, Nadiya Hussain, Naomi Campbell, Dominic West, Graham Norton, HRH The Countess of Wessex, Arsenal Football Club, Buzz Aldrin, Sophie Dahl, Team GB, The Delevingne sisters, Dame Helen Mirren and can you imagine… even more!
One Direction’s Niall Horan’s, ‘Dream Date’, shows him in a hot air balloon floating high with the girl of his dreams above the Irish countryside; “As a little boy, I liked the idea of floating above the trees and looking down on the world from above. Now I like the idea of having someone with me for the ride.”
So what is the point? Well the unique trail which see’s these ‘dreams’ hidden around the country will drum up interest in the charities and most importantly, raise awareness. It will run from 9 July – 31 August and the jars will then be auctioned in aid of Save the Children and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
